Juha-Pekka studied chemical engineering with a focus on bio-processing. He works as a CTO at Solar foods, a spin-off company from VTT and also from the Lappeenranta University of Technology. The company is developing food out of CO2 and electricity, i.e. converting solar energy (solar, wind, water) to hydrogen and then hydrogen is an energy carrier for the microorganisms to grow.
